@nyynygnyknyr1 well I was surprised too I am an Adam fan but being honest Kris did and Amazing job, great choice and was his best performance in the entire season, Adam´s was not as best as the first time IMO…but he crushed Kris in the other 2 performances

Crystal Bowersox should be on the cover of Rolling Stone! Last year, they featured Adam after he lost and this year the outcome was even more horrific! Rolling Sone is about the music and has been for decades; Janis of course graced the cover. CRYSTAL IS THE BESt, MOST SOULFUL SINGER SINCE JANIS! It would make a fascinating article; this young girl who already wrote her own amazing songs and sang them beautifully, singing on subways, diabetes, young mom, HUGE TALENT! It would sell millions!

@juliuswizard Really? I’ve only watched the season 8 finale on YT and didn’t see judges comments. But how did Kris get Round 1 if it was Adam’s dramatic Mad World vs Aint No Sunshine?

@juliuswizard Last time they did that it was for David Archuleta and he lost (duh!) but the judges tend not to be too negative they say stuff like “not your best performance” and “I didn’t like the arrangement” and then throw in a compliment. And then there’s always the useless Randy comment: “it was pitchy in spots but you pulled it off.”

@galanie I agree. Finale should have been Crystal and Siobhan. Last time 2 girls made it to the finale was season 3.

@mlm54jams As the results show, American Idol is now a popularity contest. Siobhan has the best voice. Lee goes off-key constantly. That said, I still liked Crystal best. But they’re all good.

I missed this performance last week…didn’t think it could beat out her Top 11 performance of the song but it does! Kris Allen and Lee are adorable, but Adam and Crystal are both INDISPUTABLY more talented than the ones who beat them out for the title. Sigh.

Nice song choice, but I prefer the original by Kris … Sounded a little like Janis, but she luckily stopped before screaming too much and too long to mess up the song … interesting nevertheless…

I don’t really get why people say Lee performed better overall the entire season. He owned two nights, Top 5 and Top 3 nights. Crystal OWNED Top 20, Top 11, Top 7, Top 4 and Top 2 night.

American Idol is a farce since Lee beat Crystal! He didn’t hold a candle to her. She has so much more talent in comparison. Lee is good but Crystal is GREAT! So disappointing that she didn’t win.
